Hello, Gamers!

I have discovered that some instances of Windows 11 do not play well when using Steam. On my laptop, I will get the “White Screen of Death” when launching Steam. All the Steam windows flash white!

On my desktop computers that use Windows 11, this problem does not exist. I am assuming you’re here because you are having the “White Screen of Death” within your Steam client too?

I searched high and low using our mutual friend, “Google.” This is the solution that worked right from the start!

Right Click Steam and Select Properties

Before: D:\Steam\Steam.exe

After:  D:\Steam\Steam.exe -no-cef-sandbox

After adding  -no-cef-sandbox to your Steam client string then click your Steam icon and you should now see everything load correctly!
