Hey, Gamers!
We have had many months of fun on the Outlaw Republic.
Unfortunately, I will be taking the server down soon. I am not going to get into detailed specifics of why the server is going down.
A couple of points:
- I have lost passion for this game after reading about Pyston cleaning out his blueprints from the Workshop and some of the things he detailed about the DEVS. Pystons issue also made me aware that many of the items in the game come from the Unity store. I am no fan of products or “flipped Assets” purchased in the Unity store.
- Servers are as good as the admin and when you can’t get the admin on the horn to help you then there is no point in playing any longer. While I had brought on another admin, he did not come on enough to really help out with admin tasks. So, the tasks were left up to me most of the time. Many of you know how I roll and I showed that after many of you lost bases awhile back.
With all of that said…
The Outlaw Republic will continue until 7/28/2017 so everyone can ease out and get numbers, emails, Steam handles, save blueprints etc. but with limited admin support.
Updated: Effective Immediately the server is shut down for good. – 6/30/2017 (Questions? Contact me for the reason why this has changed.)
I have made some friends from this server and I hope you did too. I enjoyed helping many of you and thank all of you for playing on the Outlaw Republic!
